Having previously purchased and loved the Purpose bag, I wanted to try out more styles by AUPEN. My first choice? The Fearless Re-edition, because of its simple yet sleek silhouette. The Nirvana was a quick add to the cart, with its slouchy shape and unique braided handbag detail. Lastly, the Brooklyn — its geometric shape is inspired by the iconic Brooklyn Bridge in NYC, because I felt that it best embodied my personal style.

To be honest, when the bags arrived, I wasn’t sure if I had over-bought. After all, AUPEN’s mission is to prevent overconsumption by focusing on crafting high-quality products for long-term wearability. Yet, what convinced me that I had made a good decision to purchase all three bags, was their long-term wearability, their ability to complement any look, while effortlessly transitioning from day to night.

For days when I’m heading to the office where dress codes are more casual, I would don on the Fearless Re-edition because its structured silhouettes means it sits well on my shoulders and its corporate-appropriate. The best part? The asymmetric shape elevates my outfit without taking too much away from the whole look.

If I’m headed out for events or just a girls’ night out, I bring out the Nirvana for a unique touch to my outfit. Plus, its hobo shape gives me ample space for all of my essentials. On the weekends, when I head out for a brunch date or social gatherings, the Brooklyn’s unique architectural silhouette makes for a great conversation starter. While these bags have enough room for my daily essentials, if you need more space for larger sized items like a laptop or a pair of shoes, these bags are probably not a good fit.
