Aupen’s affordable shoulder bag has been spotted on the arms of A-listers from Taylor Swift and Hailey Bieber to Selena Gomez – and you can still get one in time for Christmas

Usually when a handbag becomes the “it bag” for celebrities, it comes with a hefty designer price tag. But recently, celebs have been swapping their high-end luxury bags for an altogether more affordable accessory – and you can still get your hands on it for under £350.

Aupen’s Nirvana shoulder bag retails for £339, and has been seen on the arms of countless A-listers. Its extensive list of famous fans includes Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Olivia Rodrigo, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence, Hailey Bieber and Beyonce, who have all been seen wearing variations of the leather bag whilst out and about.

Although the Aupen Nirvana bag comes in several different colours and materials, it's the Nirvana Noir that’s proved the most popular amongst the A-list. Spotted on both Taylor Swift and Charli XCX, the matte black leather is a timeless choice that will go with just about any outfit.

Selena Gomez has been spotted wearing the Nirvana Ice bag in Paris, which has the same asymmetric shape but is covered in glittering crystals. Retailing for £275, it’s perfect for getting some celeb-approved sparkle for the festive season without breaking the bank.

You can also now get the same shape in a brown suede version, which nails this season’s top chocolate suede trend. Also priced at £275, it’s the epitome of cosy elegance whilst still being affordable.

Although Aupen’s handbags are definitely more affordable than most A-listers luxury handbags, if the price point is still a little out of your budget we found some fantastic versions that’ll save you some extra cash. The Dune Direction Bag will set you back £85 and has a similar asymmetric shape, with gold hardware and chain details and comes in three colours; black, cream and burgundy.

It’s made from faux leather, rather than real however, and has a slightly more rounded shape than Aupen’s angular design. Elsewhere, Charles & Keith’s Asymmetrical Shoulder Bag is priced at £79, and has a slightly more rectangular asymmetric silhouette with a partial gold chain detail on the strap.
